Biography

Jeffrey Pesner

  • Jeffrey Pesner is a RADT1, and has received his BA in Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University. Jeff has worked in addiction treatment for over 3 years, and has found his niche helping those afflicted with SUD integrate a healthy lifestyle into their experience.
    • Jeff has been sober for years and has found along his journey that the biggest thing that holds us back from happiness is ourselves. His fascination with overcoming the self in order to achieve the life we want somehow ended him up in Breathwork. “Breathwork allows me to transcend my logical mind just long enough, for me to be able to release what’s holding me back, or simply navigate around it.”
  • Although he specializes in working with, and releasing trauma with those afflicted with SUD, Jeff has made it a point to expand his horizons enough to be able to help treat anyone.
  • Through an undergraduate education in Philosophy, a personal experience with addiction, and a lifestyle in-bedded in something greater, Jeff is able to bring an approach that is both approachable and challenging. “It’s important, for me, for this thing called ‘spirituality,’ to be accessible. I think all too often people use verbal fluff that doesn’t carry any practical weight. Let’s discard the shit we don’t need and gear up an approach that benefits us all in our day-to-day lives.”
  • Jeff has been working with the breath for a few years, has completed all of the necessary training, and is an active member of the Breathwork for Recovery Team.
  • “My goal isn’t to give you your answers, that’d take all the fun out of it! The goal, is to simply give you the tools, and space, for you to answer the questions for yourself.”
